Vintage Medical Equipment

There is nothing more scary than the reusable medical equipment of days past. It had to be durable and able to withstand the high heat of the autoclave, thus it was constructed of hearty materials like stainless steel and borosilicate glass. It is very rare to see these types of instruments in use anymore in the US, and are generally no longer being produced. But they are still available if you know where to look.

We have an extensive private collection of these vintage oddities and when we end up with duplicates we offer them up for sale in our store. Whether you are looking for something nice and creepy for set dressing or are a collector yourself, we may just have what you are looking for. We have provided vintage medical equipment for collectors and major production houses.

Typically our collection is limited to the smaller surgical and general use items (glass syringes, hypodermic needles, serum vials, glass ampules, dental instruments, miscellaneous glassware and the like). Many of the vintage medical items that we offer are brand new in the original packaging, the result of government stockpiles that have been auctioned off in favor of the current disposable equipment that is the standard. We also carry items that have been used, but are still in good working condition even after years of service before being retired.

We also custom seal contents in glass serum vials and ampules, solids or liquids as long as they will fit through the opening. The standard ampules that we carry are 1ml, 5ml, 10ml and 20ml. Serum vials can vary since they tend to sell pretty quickly, but typically we have them in stock in 5ml, 10ml, 25ml, 50ml and 100ml that are capped with either 13mm or 20mm seals in various colors. Custom labeling for both is available.
